Our friends at HandsOn Twin Cities, our community’s only full-service volunteer center, is coordinating a volunteer activity that’s right in line with our mission! Together we’ll be creating hygiene kits with tampons and pads for women that face limited access to hygiene products. Decorate and include a kind and encouraging note, we’re going to include an info card on endometriosis, local resources and how to connect to our support groups! 1 in 10 people with periods have endometriosis and we want to encourage awareness throughout our community!
200 kits we make are going to House of Charity–Minneapolis, MN, and 300 kits are going to The Link!
All of this important work and conversation will not be without fun. Enjoy sushi from SotaRol, chocolates by Cosmic Cacao, sips from Prairie Organic Spirits and Surly Brewing Company.
